The exceptionally high-revving engine delivers 381 hp at 7,600 rpm from a displacement of 3.6 liters. The maximum torque of 385 Nm is reached at 8,400 rpm. Thanks to a closely spaced six-speed transmission with a single-mass flywheel and a vehicle weight reduced by 20 kilograms, the engine revs even more spontaneously, enabling the 911 GT3 RS to sprint from 0 to 100 kph in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is 306 kph.
Since Porsche's RS homologation vehicles have always been developed for a sporty clientele, the most valuable examples today are those that have not been used on the racetrack by more or less experienced drivers. Since only 632 units of the 996 GT3 RS were ever produced, there are very few vehicles left today that are still in collectible condition.
This is one of those rare examples: on February 5, 2004, this RS was delivered in Würzburg via the Porsche Center and registered to its first owner. Since the only change of ownership in 2012, the car has been owned by its second owner.
Like the original RS 2.7 Carrera, this 996 GT3 RS is finished in the classic white/red color scheme. Based on our paint layer measurements, the measurable body parts are still completely in line with the original factory paintwork. As no repainting or touch-ups could be detected, it can be assumed that this is a vehicle with its original paintwork.
It meets the highest collector's standards due to its very low mileage of only 9,705 kilometers and the complete ownership history of its two owners. This 996 GT3 RS Clubsport is like a top athlete who has not yet been let off the leash.
Useful extras: In addition to the standard equipment, air conditioning and xenon lights are among the additional special options selected ex-works.
A rare sight: with only 632 vehicles produced, the 996 GT3 RS was the GT model with the lowest production numbers in the entire 911 series.
Both vehicle registration documents are available, as are the complete service invoices. In addition, the car comes with the complete on-board folder with the original checkbook, tool kit, and key set. Despite its very low mileage, the car was regularly and exclusively serviced by Porsche centers, as well as professionally driven and stored.
This 996 GT3 RS Clubsport is as close as possible to its original condition, starting with its complete ownership history from second-hand and very low mileage from German delivery, as well as the completely preserved original paintwork with no visible signs of racetrack use. For collectors looking for the very best, this model represents a rare opportunity to secure one of the most attractive and best-preserved vehicles on the market.
