I bought this Porsche 996 Turbo from a small Porsche collection in early 2022. Due to the many vehicles there were, it wasn't moved much during the years of ownership, but I changed that. I am someone who drives my Porsche but looks after it just as lovingly. Personally, I only use the car for tours, as I don't have to rely on it for work – so it wasn't a "daily".
The car is in beautiful original condition. The color combination of silver (outside) with a slight blue shimmer and a blue leather interior fit together perfectly. Porsche is just crazy about using a blue interior but I just love it. My previous 986 Boxster already had this interior color. The equipment is almost complete, as is typical for Turbo, the only thing you won't find is cruise control or heated seats. The paint, rims and headlights are in great condition, which the pictures hopefully reflect.
The car is currently receiving a service including an oil change and an overhaul of the rear spoiler's lifting cylinders. The water pump, lambda sensors, air mass sensor and a hose between the front air conditioning condensers were also replaced in my possession. I also had the transmission flushed last year.
As a highlight, it is also possible to get the turbo with the rims typical of the 996 GT3 RS. Of course with the correct offsets. There is an additional charge of 1,200 EURO for the rims. the turbo rims are due.
The driving experience in the Turbo is simply unique. Once you experience this punch, you won't get enough. Of course, the high-revving concepts are just as good, but with the turbo you can drive confidently at all times. Overtaking moves are lightning fast and if you step on the accelerator at 200 km/h on the motorway, you will feel as if the car is never stopping. And this model is from 2004 and therefore one of the last produced in the series.
Of course, my use exclusively included hand washing, Shell V-Power, single garage, season registration, car cover and careful warm and cold driving.
