In comparison to its standard Carrera form, the 997 Carrera 4S introduced wider rear bodywork and a distinct reflective strip between the taillights. For performance, the engine was 13 pounds lighter, producing 385 horsepower and adding a 30-horsepower margin onto its predecessors.
