On the “S” models, the body is lowered by 10 mm as standard; they feature the electronically controlled Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with two selectable settings: Normal and Sport. The stiffer PASM Sport suspension was available only for the Coupé version with 19-inch wheels; this lowers the body by 20 mm compared to standard and is combined with a mechanically lockable rear differential.

The standard Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with DVD drive has been redesigned: all functions can now be controlled via a touch-sensitive 6.5-inch LCD screen. A navigation and telephone module, as well as a tuner for analog and DVB-T television, are offered as options; for safety reasons, the TV tuner can only be activated when the vehicle is stationary.
