When I went to inspect the car, I immediately noticed how fully equipped it is. Not only the well-known options like Sport Chrono and PDK, but also details such as the Porsche emblems in the headrests, carbon fiber door sills, and the carbon fiber handbrake. These may not be options that make the car faster, but they are details that show the first owner paid close attention to the car’s configuration.
Before the car arrived in our showroom, we had already prepared it for its next owner. For instance, it has been fitted with four new tires. After all, with a 997 Turbo, you have more than enough power, so you want everything to be just right. In addition, the car has undergone a major service at the Porsche dealer and has been fully detailed.
What I personally love about the 997 Turbo is that it’s a car without pretensions. It delivers performance that many modern sports cars still struggle to match, yet does so in a relatively understated manner. That is precisely why the 997 Turbo has become one of the most interesting Turbo generations for many enthusiasts.
