The Porsche 911 up for auction in this auction is a 2007 turbo from the 2nd generation 997 series (MK 1), which was first registered in the Netherlands in March 2007. So it's still a turbo from the Hans Mezger era. From the present history – which consists, among other things, of a complete checkbook – it can be seen that this 911 Turbo with the VIN WP0ZZZ99Z7S787951 including the current owner has 3 owners. All original keys are available, the matching numbers are given and the most recently completed TÜV is valid until April 2023. Worth mentioning is that it is a manual turbo with no sunroof and rear wiper, which is also black/black – absolutely rare! In addition, the 997 Mk.1 is Porsche Approved capable and was only driven in the summer. It comes from a collection and has never been raced.
Plain black (paint code 041) is the paintwork of this 997 Turbo, with the exception of minimal and normal signs of wear, there are no defects to be found on the exterior. The current owner is not aware of any repainting, and the Porsche should not have any external modifications either. All plastic attachments such as the bumpers are undamaged and in good condition, all window panes are in a crack-free condition and the rear spoiler extends and retracts perfectly electrically. Corrosion cannot be found on the exterior of this Porsche, nor are dents or paint chips evidently to be found.
The rims are original, 19-inch turbo wheels, on which Michelin tires are mounted in size 235/35 on the front axle and 305/30 on the rear axle. The Michelin tires are Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. 15mm spacers are installed on the rear axle. In the chassis area, Eibach sport springs ensure that this 911 is lowered by 30mm. The condition of the brakes is stated by the seller as good.
Black full leather sports seats can be found in the interior of this turbo, "Indian red" belts provide the necessary contrast in the interior. Neither the 3-spoke multifunction leather steering wheel nor the gear knob are particularly worn, and the seats are also in good condition. Damage to the interior does not need to be declared. In addition to the Sport Chrono Package, the equipment on board this 997 Turbo includes the following features: limited slip differential 40%, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), automatically dimming mirrors, heated seats, electrically adjustable seats with memory, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), automatic air conditioning, no sunroof, no rear window wiper, Alcantara roof lining, bi-xenon headlights, short shift travel, BOSE sound package, navigation system, display radio.
A mileage of 105,000 kilometers can be read on the display speedometer in the cockpit with the 5 round instruments familiar to 911 drivers. A constantly maintained and therefore complete Porsche checkbook is available and confirms this mileage. All instruments in the interior are working properly.
The 3.6-litre six-cylinder boxer engine delivers 480 hp and is shifted via a 6-speed manual transmission. The power is evenly distributed to all 4 wheels, so traction is always available. The last service work took place in November 2021. According to the seller, there are no pending repairs or current defects.
The underbody of this Porsche is in very good condition. With the 997 Turbo, Porsche began to further develop the qualities of the previous series in the best possible way: 480 biturbo hp and a top speed of over 310 km/h for the turbo coupé still speak for themselves today. With this 997 Turbo in subtle black, a stylish appearance is guaranteed. The very good general condition and the rich equipment are on the plus side of this Porsche. It is also extremely interesting for collectors as it does not have a sunroof and rear window wiper.
