The Boxster is the little sister of the almighty 911. It is much lighter, has better weight distribution, and at least as much history as its big sister! Especially when we talk about ours: the RS60 Spyder Boxster S. The RS60 is a nod to Porsche's beginnings. The 718 RS Spyder from 1960, of which 1,960 limited edition models were produced. As an enthusiast, you always pay attention to details. Porsche knew how to handle this perfectly and has hidden many "winks" in this "homage." For example, the gauges on the dashboard are "naked," the taillights are completely red, and various badges (dashboard, door sills) are reminiscent of the ode to the 718 RS.
The technology has also changed. The Boxster S received eight additional Stuttgart horsepower and the famous PASM suspension (Porsche Active Suspension Management). The focus was already on driving pleasure with the Boxster. Add to that the above. Necessary? Absolutely not. Pretty? Hell, it's good! With its special exhaust (which can be operated with the iconic exhaust button), it makes itself heard. Deep sound with very good afterburn. Every time we get out, we smile from ear to ear. Now, after many years, I too am suffering from the Porsche virus. Actually, I'm just as bad. Ah, wisdom comes with age.
This model is second-hand and has been treated with the utmost care to this day. It has been fully serviced by a dealer and specialist workshop, is fully documented and, of course, damage-free. Apart from being one of the most fun Porsches to drive, it is also a good investment from a rational point of view, given the "numbered homage." Saves discussions at home. See you soon?
