As you can see from the engine and underside photos this RUF-built BTR is has been further modified and now sports a $150,000 Turbo Kraft motor pushing out 680bhp, a RUF 5 speed gearbox and full Elephant Racing chassis. The original RUF BTR motor is also available and is offered for sale by separate negotiation.

The BTR, which stands for “Group B Turbo RUF” is a creation by the renowned German manufacturer RUF Automobile GmbH, known for transforming already impressive Porsches into high-performance masterpieces.  The BTR typically begins life as a Porsche 911, and RUF’s skilled craftsmen infuse it with their distinctive design elements. While retaining the classic silhouette of the 911, the BTR features subtle enhancements such as unique aerodynamic elements, lightweight alloy wheels, and signature badging.
