The RUF RTC580 is an exceptionally rare interpretation of the Porsche 911, commissioned by a small group of
international car collectors with one purpose in mind: to create the ultimate analogue 992 for road trips across
Europe.
Only 30 cars were commissioned for the project. Each began life as a Porsche 992 Carrera GTS Coupe, specially
ordered via Porsche Sonderwunsch, before being delivered to RUF for an extensive conversion.
The basis itself is exceptional. This 2024 Carrera GTS combines rear-wheel drive with Porsche’s 7-speed manual
transmission, carbon-ceramic brakes, a carbon-fibre roof, and racing bucket seats.
At RUF, the car received the RTC580 conversion, transforming both its performance and appearance. The RUF
Performance Kit raises output to 580 HP, while an Inconel 625 exhaust system gives the car a more distinctive
character and further differentiates it from the standard GTS.
The exterior received an extensive RUF transformation. Both the front and rear bumpers are manufactured
entirely from carbon fibre, with specifically selected areas left in exposed carbon to highlight their construction.
These are complemented by an SPS carbon-fibre bonnet, carbon-fibre front air intakes, carbon-fibre rear
diffuser, SPS rear ducktail, and distinctive RUF/OZ wheels.
