Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 – Eleven Cars

The generation of the 911 SC was almost the last generation of 911. Faced with discontent with its customers and enthusiasts, Porsche finally chose to maintain the car to its catalog, under the impulse of Peter Schutz, and replace the 3.0 liters equipping the SCs with a 3.2 from 1983 that will give a new dynamic to the 911 range. Presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1983, the 911 3.2 does not evolve aesthetically compared to the last SC, except for certain details. The rims are in particular the rims telephone in 15 inches, the Fuchs being always proposed in option.

The engine of the Carrera 3.2 had to take into account many constraints including in terms of consumption and pollution for marketing on the US market, the first market of Porsche. The block is the aluminum block of the SC door has 3 164 cm3 of cylinder, and developing from now 231 cv against 204 cv for the last SC. The K-jetronic is replaced by a new Bosch DME ignition and injection control system.
The gearbox is at first the 915 developed for the 2.4S in 1972. The great evolution of the 3.2 will come from 1987 with the appearance of the G50 gearbox, developed by Getrag, faster and more precise than the 915 .

The Porsche we present here is a 911 3.2 from 1984 in box 915, delivered new in France by Sonauto. It is in a rather atypical color configuration with a Moos Green metallic paint (very deep green English) inside gray-beige.
The car is in very good condition. The alignments are good, the painting is of good quality. The interior is in good condition, only the outer bead of the driver’s seat is damaged and deserves to be changed.
The car was initially equipped with air conditioning which has been disassembled since.Many recent expenses have been made for pros 13 000 euros including:
