This 911 Targa was originally ordered for the European market by a U.S. military officer stationed in Germany. Because of this, it was built with an extra-capacity air conditioning system and instrumentation in both miles and kilometers. However, the order was ultimately redirected to Sweden, and the car was sold new through Svenska Porsche (Porsche’s Swedish importer). The first owner, Ulf Eixmann, took delivery in July 1985. He kept the car until April 1992, driving it only sparingly. By the time he sold the Porsche in 1992, the odometer reading was still under 10,000 km.

Since then, the car has passed through four additional owners before finding its way to the current custodian, who acquired it in 2011. All have been true enthusiasts, each committed to preserving the car in excellent condition.

When the Targa entered our inventory, MOTIKON conducted a comprehensive mechanical inspection and addressed every issue identified. The work included replacing the faulty tachometer, installing a period-correct Blaupunkt Bremen radio, repairing the AC system with a new compressor, and fitting a new battery. Additionally, rear Bilstein shock absorbers, bonnet gas dampers, and a full major service—covering oil, filters, brake fluid, and spark plugs—were carried out.

Interior and trim improvements included fixing worn or missing knobs, seat mechanisms, loose panels, faded door handles, and broken covers. The exterior lighting was also refreshed with new rear indicators and fog light lenses.

Invoices totaling approximately 120,000 SEK for the work completed are available upon request.

Now, this exceptionally well-maintained “triple black” 911 Targa is ready for its next owner. Included in the sale are original Porsche literature and a large folder of documentation.
