Only small defect, like many type G, this copy is affected by the disease of the blocked odometer. This problem arose in 2017. The history of the 911 Carrera 3.2 « G »

The 911 had already been around for 10 years when Porsche decided to upgrade its flagship model, in fact in 1974 the 911 experienced profound changes with this new “G” version.
Recognizable among all with its bellows bumpers, the black « 911 » type logo on the rear cover below the black engine grille and the Porsche strip between the taillights. Internally, however, it only stands out with its seats with integrated headrests.
At the 1983 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Stuttgart brand presented the Carrera 3.2, aesthetically the look changed very little compared to the SC.
A new spoiler incorporating fog lights or a Carrera logo on the engine cover are just some of the small details specific to the 3.2.

Inside, the typical 911 atmosphere is still present in the Carrera 3.2, the driver sits in seats adjustable in all directions and can therefore enjoy a perfect driving position. The assembly quality is irreproachable, the impression of robustness is more than present on board. However, the real 911 experience begins when the driver inserts the key to the left and turns it to switch on the ignition. The flat 6 launches into a roar specific to air-cooled engines.
On the road, driving the Carrera 3.2 remains typical of the 911 of the time: manly. The absence of power steering and any driving assistance coupled with the engine placed in the rear overhang gives real sensations and even the impression of being one with the car is real, even at low speed.
The concentration and the steering wheel that the car requires to be taken on small roads provide a real driving pleasure, always accompanied by the magical soundtrack of the flat-6, hoarse at low revs and metallic in the turns. The block is coupled with a particularly pleasant gearbox to handle (in particular the G50s installed on the Carrera 3.2 from the 1986 vintage).
