For the first time since 1977, the Carrera name was revived in 1983 as the successor to the successful SC series. In the last « 911 » (hereafter it became 964), the entire electronics, brake and chassis were adjusted. In addition to this improvement, the engine block was also increased to a 3.2 liter with 219 HP. The 3.2 Carrera model of the 911 series was produced from 1983 to 1989. Our copy is therefore one of the last before the 964 made its appearance.
