1997 Porsche 993 Turbo WLS 1 for sale!

This car is a Porsche 993 Turbo from the last year of production, built with an extensive list of options through Porsche’s Exclusive program.

The most important of these is the engine. Throughout the production period of the 993 Turbos, the Exclusiv division gave customers the option to specify enhanced engine performance. Originally this amounted to little more than increased turbo pressure and a modified ECU. However, this grew into a package called « WLS I » (German acronym for « Works Performance Increase 1 »). This increased the engine power from 408 to 430 hp.

The original owner of this car did not stop at the engine and chose to specify all the cosmetic enhancements of the Turbo S, including expensive features such as the ventilated rear wings, the full Aerokit and the special carbon and leather interior.

On the road it’s everything you’d hope for: stunningly fast, with power from very low in the rev range, but also a really strong top end. The chassis more than matches the power and the result is a car that truly embodies the 911 Turbo’s ethic of effortless speed and ease of use.

As a classic 911 for everyday use, for long drives at the weekend or for the occasional show off at events, it seems to us to meet all the requirements.

The combination of artik silver metallic paint and the flamingo red red interior works particularly well to show off that opulent widebody 993 Turbo shape. The traditional 993 build quality is taken to even greater heights with the addition of the Exclusiv finish options.

The general impression is typical « Porsche Turbo ». Massive performance wrapped in a beautifully crafted, aesthetically pleasing and comfortable environment.
