The signature comes into its own extremely powerfully with the Arctic Silver metallic paint. In contrast to 996s from the 90s, the indicators are white all around, the bumpers and headlights are slightly tighter/more modern and the exhaust tailpipes are oval. Engine-wise, there is a 3.6-liter boxer with 320 hp and 370 Nm of torque above the rear axle, which excels in terms of reliability and the VarioCam Plus. In the completely black interior we find only high-quality materials, lots of Raff leather and a luxurious finish with stitching. The seats are electrically adjustable and equipped with seat heating. The whole feels very well cared for, smells fresh and has been exceptionally well-conditioned over the past 23 years. There are new, original velour mats in it.
This Porsche has a new price of € 109,485, – and in addition to the above options, it is equipped with things like a Cruise Control, rear window wiper, parking sensors [integrated in the rear bumper], an anti-theft alarm, side airbags and Climate Control with air conditioning. As the version suggests, this 911 has rear-wheel drive, with the standard chassis, a differential and PSM [Porsche Stability Management]. In short, this example is very complete and leaves little to be desired. In addition to mounting this set of rims, we had the brake calipers sprayed black [incl. original stickers], renewed the hub caps, mounted spacers, polished the paint, mattified the interior and sprayed the wheel hubs / bolts in zinc aluminum color.
Maintenance was stamped at 3,376km [7-11-2001], 9,303km [3-12-2002], 19,542km [1-4-2003], 38,257km [9-10-2003], 66,110km [11-8-2004], 83,169km [3-3-2005], 87,997km [16-11-2006], 102,922km [19-12-2008], 142,020km [11-2-2010], 193,823km [3-10-2013], 229,997km [4-7-2019] and 240,657km [1-7-2024]. The MOT is valid until July 16, 2025. The last maintenance included, in addition to the fluids, all filters, spark plugs, air conditioning filling and stabilizer bars. Following the purchase inspection, the sliding roof switch, cigarette lighter, third brake light, front speakers, telephone holder, steering lever, windscreen wipers, various clips, bolts and caps were replaced. Initially, this car was delivered in Paderborn, Germany, to a pensioner from Bielefeld. Maintenance was carried out annually at the supplying dealer, after which it ended up with the second, German owner via Porsche Zentrum Lübeck in April 2005. Relatively shortly thereafter, in October 2006, the car was exported to the Netherlands with 87,295 km. Until April 2010, the car changed owners several times, after which it had one owner until recently [14.5 years]. In the early days, it had the overhaul carried out by specialist Haaglanden. It was always stored indoors and was usually suspended in the winter. In 2016, the bodywork was almost completely repainted [except for the roof]. The engine sounds silky smooth [without smoke development], even when starting cold, and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Three keys and the complete vehicle folder are present.
