Jack Wahl. One of Sweden’s most famous advertising executives of all time had decided in 2005 that the then-new 997 would be a good fit for him, and decided to buy it. But the car he bought, this 997 Carrera S, was going to be perhaps one of the best-equipped cars to ever leave the assembly line. At first glance, it may be difficult to see why, but those with a trained eye will immediately see the little details. And there are a lot of little details here. The silver exterior might be Arctic Silver to most people. It’s a fairly common color, but it’s a darker shade of GT Silver. Such an early color on the 997 was a rather unusual choice. The traditional ‘lobster claw’ wheels are painted in a darker shade of Gray Metallic to contrast nicely with the car, and the yellow rear brake calipers give a hint of the PCCB brakes that the car was born with. Otherwise, the exterior gives no clues as to how unique the car really is, but it’s not until you open the door that you realize….
