You are laying your eyes on an orange 997 GT3 RS and a first generation of its kind – in the Clubsport variant. 25 kg. has been saved compared to 997.1 GT3. And why it is no more, is because the weight-saving measures have since been offset by extra wide bodywork and wider wheels; The GT3 RS runs extra 10 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear. As this is a Gen 1, it is still equipped with the legendary « Mezger » 3.6 liter flatsix engine that originated in the successful 962 and GT1 racing engines.

The car is painted in the deeply mesmerizing Pure Orange and is in many ways a very complete configuration. This GT3 RS holds a special investment potential in our humble opinion – also taking into account the mileage of the car.

There’s noise. A wonderful combination of mechanical whirlwinds, induction gases and the road located a few centimeters below you. Everything is close by, the sound of the titanium exhaust is unique and the feeling is not comparable to much else that can be placed on roads with license plates. Out of the rear window – which made out of plastic, the large rear spoiler; made of glossy carbon fiber is visible.

The design of a GT3 RS is rarely overlooked. A design that exudes coolness and a great deal of confidence – but for a connoisseur, it’s far more than this. A machine of joy and emotions.

This GT3 RS has been in Danish hands for several years. Before that, it lived a comfortable life in southern Germany under the same owner for years. The car is properly serviced at authorized Porsche Centers throughout its entire lifetime.
