This very special series of the 911 is distinguished above all by a spectacular look typical of the Speedster variants: a steeply sloping front windscreen and double rear hump. While these elements are clearly reminiscent of the famous 356, the Fuchs wheels have been delightfully revisited while retaining their fabulous « retro » look, with the superb combination of black lacquer and chrome. Based on the 997 Carrera GTS, the 3.8L flat 6 benefits from the specific X51 kit aimed at improving the intake and exhaust, allowing the car to gain 23 hp: this car offers 408 hp for 1540 kg, so the 997 Speedster can reach 305 km/h. The car also benefits from the renowned PDK gearbox, carbon-ceramic brakes and the Chrono Plus sports package. The Speedster accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, a better time than that of the very exclusive Sport Classic, equipped with the same mechanics.
