This very special series of the 911 is distinguished above all by a spectacular look typical of the Speedster variants: a steeply sloping front windscreen and double rear hump. While these elements are clearly reminiscent of the famous 356, the Fuchs wheels have been delightfully revisited while retaining their fabulous “retro” look, with the superb combination of black lacquer and chrome. Based on the 997 Carrera GTS, the 3.8L flat 6 benefits from the specific X51 kit aimed at improving the intake and exhaust, allowing the car to gain 23 hp: this car offers 408 hp for 1540 kg, so the 997 Speedster can reach 305 km/h. The car also benefits from the renowned PDK gearbox, carbon-ceramic brakes and the Chrono Plus sports package. The Speedster accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, a better time than that of the very exclusive Sport Classic, equipped with the same mechanics.
