US-delivered Porsche 911S 2.7 from 1976!

Originally delivered in the elegant and rare Ice Green Metallic, in our opinion one of the better looking colors on the G-body. The car was originally delivered to the United States and comes with its original US title, while it’s currently on German registration. A professional valuation report from approximately two years ago is also present. The car shows 266,000 km. It was owned for many years by a German private couple; the 911S was driven by the wife, while her husband owned a later 3.2 Carrera. Due to age-related circumstances, she could no longer drive the car.

In 2019, the car underwent a comprehensive refresh, including:

* Freshened-up interior

Unfortunately, invoices for this work are no longer available. However, the overall condition and presentation of the car clearly reflect the quality of the restoration.

The engine number is 6361665. It’s from 1976 just like the car, and it is the correct type (911/81 with 165 hp) so we suspect matching numbers. The engine starts immediately, runs well, and delivers strong performance. The gearbox shifts smoothly, making this a very enjoyable and usable classic Porsche.

Overall, this is a well-presented and honest driver’s car with attractive specs and strong visual appeal.

The car is being sold on German registration. Buyer must register it in the country of choice. The car can be viewed by appointment in ’s-Gravenzande, the Netherlands.
