Classic Expo Salzburg 2026: A Gathering Place for Vintage Cars and the Classics of Tomorrow
From the Porsche 356 to Luftgekühlt 911s to the Carrera GT: The Classic Expo Salzburg showcases just how diverse a classic car show can be. With its mix of classic cars, newer collector’s items, and rare supercars, it has become a staple of the Austrian auto show scene at the end of the season over the past two decades. From October 16 to 18, 2026, it will take place for the 22nd time. At the Salzburg Exhibition Center, international dealers and restoration shops traditionally await visitors. A large parts market, club presentations, and rotating special exhibitions round out the program. This year, the “Elferspot” in Hall 9 is once again part of the lineup.
Vehicle Sales, Restoration, and Parts Market at Classic Expo
Every year, the Salzburg Classic Expo captivates nearly 25,000 car enthusiasts. In a total of ten exhibition halls, more than 350 exhibitors showcase just how vibrant the world of classic cars is. Naturally, a wide selection of classic cars and newer collector’s cars from various brands is one of the cornerstones of the show. Past editions have demonstrated just how broad the spectrum is: In addition to classic Porsche 911s, the Carrera GT, 918 Spyder, and current GT models were also on display.

Of course, no classic car show would be complete without the obligatory parts market. Here you’ll find new and used replacement parts, tools, workshop equipment, and care products. In addition, there’s specialized literature, model cars, and automobilia. Clubs and associations showcase their vehicles and activities; specialized businesses provide information on restoration, maintenance, and repairs.
Porsche Motorsport, Tractors, and Muscle Cars: The 2026 Special Exhibits
The Hans-Peter Porsche Traumwerk will, fittingly, bring the special exhibition “75 Years of Porsche Motorsport” to Salzburg for you. In the same hall, the spotlight will also be on 70 years of Porsche diesel and the 30th anniversary of the Porsche Diesel Club Europa. Another exhibition by the Traumwerk is dedicated to Märklin.

In addition, Hall 10 will feature American muscle cars from the 1960s and 1970s, as well as the special exhibition “140 Years of Mercedes-Benz Innovation.” An exhibition in Hall 2 is dedicated to the Fiat 500 Topolino to mark its 90th anniversary. On Saturday, October 17, a classic car auction will also take place in Hall 1. You can find a complete overview of the show’s highlights in the Classic Expo 2026 program.
These dealers are exhibiting at the Classic Expo Salzburg
Among the more than 350 exhibitors, there are, of course, several dealers showcasing parts of their vehicle inventory from the Elferspot marketplace in Salzburg. This gives you the unique opportunity to stroll through the temporary showrooms of Boxer Motor, Automobile Pühringer, FLAT 6 Car Emotion, HK-Engineering, Metropole Classic Cars, Schwarzenbach, and Wagenwerk—all in one place. All participants and their hall assignments are listed in the 2026 Exhibitor Directory.
