In the early morning sun, the silver-grey Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupé glistened like a promise. The world was changing fast, but this car was an ode to mechanical perfection, the last air-cooled 911, a legend in the making.

Under the bonnet roared a 3.6-litre boxer engine with 285 hp, coupled with four-wheel drive. No turbo, no artificial driving aids, just pure control and sensation. Every bend, every acceleration felt like a conversation between man and machine.
