Porsche introduced during the mid 90’s a new variant at the top of the range, the 993 4S. Based on the Turbo body, but without the big rear spoiler and of course, without the Turbo engine. The 4 wheel drive, the brakes and the suspension though were also adopted on this model. One model year later, Porsche also introduced the wide body on a 2 wheel drive 993, called the 993 Carrera S. Many of these 993 Carrera S models where TIptronic, since you could not order this on the 4 wheel driven cars, so the manual shift Carrera S models, are now very sought after. On top, this Carrera S is from the special Vesuvio range. A special colour and distinguished details as the mirrors, the rims, the doorhandles and the rear spoiler, as well as some interior pieces around the gauges, handbrake and shift knob.

On top, for the Dutch collectors amongst us, this particular car was delivered new by Porsche dealer Wittebrug in the Hague and came with the following options:
