The early history of this car is not known other than it was in Washington State early on until 2011 when it was brought to CA and owned by an officer at the Monterey Naval base. The car was acquired by a WA Porsche collector in early 2018 and has been stored in his large private warehouse. Recently both batteries have been replaced w/ correct 6 volt units from Porsche Classic and the car has received a fresh tune up. The body was stripped to bare metal, and painted to a high standard at some point. New seals and body gaskets were fitted. All panels and floors are believed original. The original brown leather interior is very nice showing a lovely light patina. Dash is crack free and features the correct center speaker grill. The Blaupunkt am/fm cassette is currently non operational. The carpets, door panels, door pockets and targa top are all in excellent condition. The steering wheel leather has been recovered and new period optional brown coco floor mats look great, providing a cool vintage vibe. All gauges, lights, horn, and heater are in good working order.
