The history is both interesting and well-documented. The car originated in Japan, where it was first purchased new by Bo Dankis, then CEO of ABB in Japan. During the years 1993–1997, this was his personal daily driver. When Dankis returned to Sweden, he took the car with him as moving goods. Later, in 2004, it was taken over by the well-known architect Åke Walther, the man behind several of the Porsche Centers that have been built in Sweden.
Since day one, there has been very good documentation of the car, and its service and ownership history are well preserved. Porsche built only 556 cars with Targa models in 1993, which is the last model year with the traditional Targa construction.
The car has recently undergone an extensive service at Porsche Center Örebro, where, among other things, the Targa roof has been renovated with new moldings and other measures have been taken to ensure continued high quality and driving pleasure.
This example represents a unique opportunity to acquire an icon from 911 history – in exceptionally fine condition, with low mileage and a background that few other cars can match.
A fantastic example for those who want to own a classic with both soul and history.
