The Porsche 964 Turbo 3.3 marks an important milestone in the 911 lineage. As the successor to the legendary 930 Turbo, it kept the explosive character of the 3.3-litre single-turbo flat six, while pairing it with a far more modern and usable chassis. ABS, power steering, revised suspension and improved ergonomics brought the Turbo into a new era – without losing the essence of what made it famous: that sudden rush of boost and the unmistakable drama of a true Porsche Turbo. Today, the 964 Turbo is rightly regarded as one of the most charismatic and collectible 911s of the early 1990s.
This 1991 example is exactly the kind of car collectors search for but almost never find. From new, it has had only two owners: first delivered by Porsche Stuttgart to Senator Günter Kraut, and since 1994 carefully preserved in Belgium. Over three decades later, the odometer shows just 78,885 km, fully documented by a continuous service record and a remarkably complete set of books, manuals, invoices and keys. Provenance of this quality speaks volumes about how carefully the car has been cherished. The configuration is outstanding: Midnight Blue Metallic with a Marine Blue leather interior.
Few colour combinations flatter the Turbo’s wide-arched silhouette so well. Inside, the original leather remains beautifully preserved, while options such as heated seats, lumbar support, a limited slip differential and the rare “Raff” leather front seats add further distinction. The car has been repainted once in its original Midnight Blue Metallic. Paint thickness readings are low and consistent across every panel, confirming a first-class job and a body free of accident damage. Underneath, everything presents clean and correct, with no corrosion, no leaks and no mechanical issues. Freshly serviced, there are simply no costs to foresee. The significance of this cannot be overstated.
Many 964 Turbos have led hard lives, suffered accident damage or been modified. To find one so close to original, with such low mileage, two-owner provenance, a perfect colour scheme and complete documentation, is exceptionally rare. This car is therefore a true reference example – the kind of 964 Turbo that sets the standard
