Ergonomic Recaro seats ensure maximum comfort on your journeys back to the good old days, and if you ever want to hear something other than the melody of the 300 hp engine, the speakers of the high-performance sound system blend discreetly into the interior ensemble.

Cockpit for time travel.

In the area around the steering wheel, every touch becomes a sensual experience in the KAEGE RETRO: the highest quality workmanship, visual accents, and haptic refinements make every kilometer a pleasure trip: a leather steering wheel that flatters your hand, classically interpreted gauges, a high-end radio navigation system in a vintage look, and a dashboard for a consistent interior design. With airbag, of course.

Luggage compartment with ambience.

Good style continues under the hood of the KAEGE RETRO: the trunk is also high-quality, sophisticated, and designed entirely according to your wishes. As with the classic model, it offers space for light luggage.

Technology

Air-cooled to perfection.

The KAEGE RETRO CLASSIC is powered by a completely overhauled engine from the 911 – and thus the best air-cooled series technology ever installed in Swabia. Carefully dismantled, tested, finely balanced, and reassembled, the engine is extremely refined, smooth-running, and stable.
Through careful fine-tuning, we have been able to increase the power output from 3.6 liters of displacement to 300 hp and more. Classic 911 feeling. Thanks to the built-in hydraulic tappets, the RETRO is very low-maintenance – but thanks to its OBD capability, it can be easily handled by any Porsche dealer.

Consistently KW.

It goes without saying that we also use the proven KW suspension systems in this "flagship project" from KAEGE. Comfort, damping behavior, and sportiness are unmatched in this manufacturer's suspension systems – and they also suit the Kaege RETRO well.

With ease for powerful impulses.

Saving weight while maintaining reliable performance – this premise also applied to the selection of the battery. For this reason, we once again opted for a Liteblox lithium battery. A true lightweight made in Germany, proven and race-tested.

Safety & comfort

Innovative luminosity.

A question of safety: when it comes to headlights, "the good old days" seem to be much further back than with other components. For us, this was reason enough to sell our own LED headlights in the KAEGE RETRO.
They fit seamlessly into the visual look, but are decades ahead of their predecessors in terms of economy, light intensity, and durability.

We were particularly happy about some of the blessings of modern times: unlike the F model, it already had air conditioning as standard. Completely overhauled, it now ensures that every pleasure drive in the RETRO is not only exciting, but also at the optimum temperature, alongside the optional sunroof.
