The perfect “Porsche start-up”
Who, as a car enthusiast, doesn’t dream of owning a Porsche one day? But when is the right time? When you’re young, looking at your dreamcar but can’t afford it, or when other things like a house are more important?
There seem to be plenty of reasons not to buy a Porsche. It seems. Because sometimes one comes onto the market that has everything an enthusiast who doesn’t want to spend a fortune desires. A Porsche that doesn’t belong on the “marketplaces.” A car that comes from a true enthusiast and should also end up with someone who has the same good intentions for the car. It should come from someone who has cherished the car and enjoyed it with their passenger during beautiful trips at home and abroad.
But… it has to be a car that a: fits within a reasonable budget, b: looks perfect, and c: has been superbly maintained. Then the pickings are slim, as we can tell you from our extensive experience with Boxsters. But rare doesn’t mean it’s not for sale. Rare, then, just like a black pearl… And we happen to have a knack for finding rare cars and have found this Black Pearl for you.
We’re talking about a Porsche Boxster from 2000 in the highly sought-after (and at the time top-of-the-line) 3.2 S version. Delivered in Germany, the car was registered in the Netherlands on August 20, 2004, and has had two owners here. These owners used the beautiful convertible solely as a second car, hence the mere 102699 km on the odometer. An exceptionally well-maintained example that will provide years of enjoyment. You’ll need to appreciate its beautiful exterior, where the jet-black, completely undamaged paintwork (the front of the car has been resprayed due to stone chips, but the rest of the car still has its original paint) plays a prominent role, complemented by the equally beautiful 18-inch GT-3 wheels (fitted with brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport tires). And let’s not forget the impeccable black leather interior. An interior that lacks virtually nothing to please the sporty driver. Although the interior storage space is practically nonexistent, but that’s the nature of a mid-engined car. However, the very spacious trunks in the front and rear of the car offer a welcome change, so a holiday trip with several bags is certainly possible. The technology should also appeal to you, as the mid-mounted 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers an impressive 252 hp, controlled by a very smooth-shifting 6-speed gearbox. We could write entire epistles about the Boxster’s exceptionally good handling and ease of use, but you really have to experience it for yourself.
So, if you are ready for a “start-up” Porsche that has just received major maintenance on our behalf (at €3.218), including new tires, battery, air conditioning service, etc., and is a car that retains its value and brings a lot of enjoyment: then you know where to find us.
