Porsche 911 S

1967 Porsche 911 S, S/N 308409S, Sand Beige with tan leatherette and pepita cloth inserts.  Flat 6 cylinder 2 liter motor making 160HP mated to a 5 speed gearbox.  Original color combination, matching numbers first year 911 S that has had long-term California ownership.  It’s Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shows it was completed on June 20, 1967, finished in Sand Biege 6607 with beige leatherette and equipped with antenna, loudspeaker and shod with Dunlop tires.  A long time CA car that was well known in Porsche circles when in 2002 bought by collector in original but tired state. Very light rust, no accident history with excellent panel fit, it was the perfect restoration candidate.  He undertook and had the car completely redone, media blasted, painted, new interior (adding pepita inserts), new interior, redone wheels, gauges, etc…when finished, it was shown at a PCA event in 2009 and won 1st place and later at the 2010 Legends of the Autobahn in Carmel, it won Best in Show, Best Porsche and 1st in class!  Since 2011, it has been in a very active and loving collection in Los Angeles and has been enjoyed about 4,000 miles since he acquired it.  Today showing better than a 15 year old restoration, proving the quality of the work, it is ready for touring, shows and road trips.  It comes with the CoA, receipts from the past couple decades, owners manual and a great complete tool roll.
