Porsche 911 (996.2) Carrera 4 Coupé – Orient Red Metallic – Exceptional technical condition
For sale is an exceptionally well-maintained 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 from the 996.2 series in Orient Red Metallic. This color was only available from 2001 to 2003 and gives the vehicle a special presence and rarity.
The interior is finished in full sand/beige leather, creating a particularly elegant contrast to the deep exterior color. The classic configuration is complemented by the original Carrera wheels with Pirelli P Zero N4 tires in sizes 225/40 ZR18 in the front and 285/30 ZR18 in the rear, which give the vehicle a very harmonious and sporty-elegant appearance.
I used the 911 exclusively as a seasonal vehicle and drove it only from March through November. Accordingly, I stored the vehicle during the winter. I am, of course, including a protective cover and battery charger.
The vehicle is in impeccable technical condition and has been maintained over the years with great care and significant investment. The car impresses with a very precise driving feel, smooth engine operation, and an exceptionally robust technical foundation overall.
In April 2026, the Porsche Classic 33-Point Check was performed at the Porsche Center Stuttgart (including inspection of the suspension and steering, brake system, engine and drivetrain components, body and underbody, electrical/lighting, tires, and wheels). The Porsche Classic Card received can be transferred to the new vehicle owner upon sale.
In recent years, numerous new parts have been installed and extensive work has been carried out. Among other things, the oil cooler was replaced—for this, the engine was removed and reinstalled, and numerous attached components were also replaced. In addition, the vehicle received a new battery. The steering system was completely overhauled (steering column and steering gear). Original invoices from the Porsche Center Stuttgart are available.
At 106,000 km, the engine underwent a comprehensive partial overhaul at a specialist shop. In particular, the main and connecting rod bearings were replaced, the pistons and rings were renewed, the crankcase was reconditioned, the valve guides were inspected, the valves were cleaned and lapped, a complete engine gasket set was installed, the crankshaft was inspected and polished, and the engine was thoroughly cleaned.
The vehicle has a full service history. All original invoices since 2019 are available.
The original equipment sticker is still present on the trunk lid (original hood). It includes, in particular: Tiptronic transmission, 18-inch Carrera alloy wheels, Litronic headlights (Xenon) with fog lights and a cleaning system, sunroof, fully automatic climate control, navigation system, CD changer in the frunk (front trunk), BOSE sound system, exterior mirrors electrically adjustable and heated from inside, 3-spoke sport steering wheel, leather-wrapped steering wheel rim, leather-wrapped dashboard, Porsche emblem on the headrests, Alcantara headliner, alarm system incl. interior monitoring, automatically extending rear spoiler, driver and passenger airbags, central locking with remote control, on-board computer, heat-insulating glass, immobilizer.
The car sustained parking damage while parked in both 2024 and 2026. In both cases, the vehicle was parked and stationary. Complete documentation for both incidents is available in the form of expert reports with numerous photos, as well as police reports. Repairs were carried out professionally at the Porsche Center Stuttgart in each case, with original invoices and professional repainting. In 2024, the repairs involved the driver’s door and left fender; in 2026, the front bumper (replaced).
