This Porsche 993 is one of the final representatives of the legendary air-cooled 911 generation.
It features the extremely rare factory X51 Motorsport Package, increasing the displacement of the flat-six engine from 3.6 to 3.8 litres and its output to 285 hp, while retaining the character of the early non-Varioram engine.
Often regarded as a more discreet alternative to the 993 Carrera RS, the X51 combines part of its sporting philosophy with the understated appearance of a standard Carrera.
Only approximately 80 examples are believed to have been produced in Carrera 2 X51 specification, making this an exceptionally rare and highly desirable configuration.
Compared with a Carrera 2S, the narrow-body Carrera 2 benefits from lower weight and a particularly agile driving character. This example goes one step further with Bilstein B16 suspension and upgraded H&R anti-roll bars, resulting in a precise and highly communicative chassis.

Vehicle condition
Before being offered for sale, the car underwent a comprehensive mechanical inspection.
It currently drives exceptionally well and shows no particular signs of abnormal mechanical wear.
Despite its mileage, the bodywork remains in very good overall condition, while naturally showing a few age- and use-related imperfections.
The interior is particularly well preserved considering the mileage and remains in very good condition.
Its mileage and minor signs of use also make this a 993 that can be enjoyed without hesitation: a car intended to be driven, enjoyed on the road and used as a true enthusiast’s Porsche rather than simply stored away in a garage.
