This 356A impresses with its very good driving characteristics, which it has demonstrated again and again over the last 20 years on the way to numerous visits to various meetings in the region. It was serviced regularly at Classic Power in Schorndorf, where it also received a dual-circuit brake system for safety reasons, which is recorded in the vehicle registration document and provides excellent braking. The entire on-board electrical system was converted to 12V at an early age and ensures reliable starting behavior at all times as well as pleasantly bright light when driving at dusk and at night.
A vehicle passport from DEUVET (the national representative of FIVA) proves the history of the vehicle. The “old” vehicle registration document shows that it was re-registered after the re-import on May 3rd, 1999 – during this time the vehicle was repainted in signal red. Measured paint thicknesses are in the range of 500 mµ on average. During the revision, all original parts were reused; no cheap reproduction parts were used.
Original body panels are stamped with the correct final number of the chassis number. A copy of the title from the state of Arizona, issued to the long-time owner of the vehicle, is also included.
The condition is still almost unchanged compared to 2001, as evidenced by numerous paper photos from a report shortly after completion. Only superficial signs of wear and an attractively patinated interior are evidence of regular use over the course of over 20 years. The body panel and add-on parts are in very good condition; even during the revision, only a little hand was required. All of this is due to the excellent climate in Arizona, where the car has spent many stress-free years in the sun.
The vehicle is delivered including a valid general inspection and a freshly carried out service according to the service plan in a defect-free condition.
