According to the available data sheet, the vehicle was exported to Canada via the Porsche dealership Stinnes in Mülheim on January 21, 1958. A registration document from 1964 records its registration in Ohio (USA). In 2009, the car was brought to Italy, where it was fully restored in the following years in accordance with its original specifications. Body components such as the hood, trunk lid, and doors bear matching serial numbers. Particularly noteworthy are the outstanding build quality and the precise, uniform gap tolerances. The work performed meets the highest quality standards—a 356 of this build quality is a rare find. The mechanical systems were comprehensively overhauled by German specialist workshops. As part of this process, the engine was tuned to approximately 1,720 cm³ and around 100 hp. The stamped engine number corresponds to the delivery specification as per the Porsche data sheet. The attractive ruby red paintwork follows the original delivery specification. The car has a Monegasque registration.
