Another feature is the front hood handle, which is wider towards the bottom than its predecessor. The license plate lighting was also integrated into the rear bumper and the reversing light was installed below the rear bumper. From September 1961 (T6) revisions were added, such as a front hood that was widened towards the bottom and a fuel cap integrated into the front right fender. Furthermore, two vertically arranged air grilles were integrated into the enlarged hood.
