This particular 356C convertible was built in September 1963 for the German market, although it is a 1964 model! Finished in Ivory White over a Black interior and equipped with a 616/15 type 1600cc engine.
During restoration – completed in 2018 in the Netherlands – the matching engine was upgraded from a 1600cc to a 1720cc (Big bore kit) + fitted with Weber carburetors. With some additional horsepower added, this Porsche lives up to its name and its expectations.
Some clever improvements, such as the installation of a dual brake circuit, the conversion from a 6-volt to a 12-volt system,… clearly show the philosophy of “quality over speed” during the restoration. Furthermore, the car still has its original sheet metal parts such as the boot lid, bonnet, indicators,…
This Porsche offers very good engine performance and improved road manners thanks to disc brakes all around.
Comes with the following documents:
– A copy of the Kardex
– A valuation document worth 235 000 Euro
– Photos relating to the restoration
