The selling dealer, Hahn Motorfahrzeuge, sold VIN 131471 to its first owner, Mr. Laborde, on January 19, 1965. Dealer services at Hahn Motorfahrzeuge are recorded in the maintenance booklet until 1966. Service invoices begin in 1980 when the vehicle eventually made its way to the dry state of New Mexico where it traded hands twice. In 2010, this 356 was sold to its previous owner who brought the vehicle to his home in Southern California. Upon taking delivery of the vehicle, he had 356 specialist, Jack Staggs, complete a very thorough inspection of the fuel system, braking system, electrical system, and engine at a total cost of $2,165.27.
