We hereby present this fantastic 356 Speedster. An original Pre A 1500 from 1955, so ideally suited for participation in the Mille Miglia.

This 356 Speedster presents itself in its original colour combination as it was delivered new at that time. In beautiful red with black interior. It is an older restoration from the 1990s. However, the presentation is beautiful with nice originality and the Reutter body is in nice condition with nice body panels.

The vehicle in detail

The Reutter body is in good condition and the body seams are well finished. The nice plaque on the front bumper shows that this Speedster won a nice prize in the 1998 national competition of the “Automobile Club of America”.

The engine is an early “split case” 546 engine from 1954, which is a 1500 cc engine with 55 hp as the Speedster was delivered new. So at some point in its life this engine was replaced. As was very common in the early years.
The gearbox is still matching numbers.
