The original color of the Porsche called "lemon yellow" (color code R1012) is strikingly friendly: In the course of the complete restoration 2018-2020, the paintwork was renewed, the condition of the body can be described as very good, dents or strong scratches are not closed recognize. The chrome is still strong in terms of gloss, the front headlights and the rear lights have no cracks, and no damage can be seen on the bumpers. According to the seller, the Porsche 911 Targa is accident-free. External modifications deviating from the original condition are not to be found on the exterior. A small complaint applies to the edging for the removable targa roof in the area of the chrome bar: the fabric is no longer the most beautiful here, but the targa roof can be locked and opened again without any problems.
Classic, chrome / black original forged Fuchs rims in clean condition, together with new tires, adorn the exterior of the Porsche. The brake system was new in the course of the restoration work, Koni shock absorbers can be seen in the chassis area, no defects can be found here.
The interior has also undergone extensive restoration: there are black synthetic leather seats with a corduroy middle section in the interior. There are no scuff marks on the seats, the black imitation leather door panels show no defects and the entire interior carpet is free of stains. Neither the gear knob nor the four-spoke steering wheel with the thin rim is excessively worn. Noticeable are two holes in the middle of the dashboard, otherwise no damage can be found in the interior. The equipment includes a radio and an electrically heated fixed rear window.
A look at the classic collection of clocks in the cockpit also reveals the mileage: The speedometer shows a mileage of 6,195 kilometers, whereby it can be assumed that the odometer was set to zero after the restoration work was completed. According to the seller, there is a partially kept checkbook. The instruments can be certified as functioning properly.
This 911 Targa was delivered from the factory with a 2.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine and 130 hp; this original engine was swapped for a 2.7-liter engine with 169 hp around 1975. There are no motor defects to be mentioned. The manual transmission has five gears, which can be shifted through without any problems. The last service was carried out in the course of completing the restoration in 2020.
The underbody is in good condition, sealed with plenty of black underbody protection, improperly carried out work cannot be seen, on the underside of the Porsche 911 Targa a lot was apparently new.
