In addition to the “scaled grace” of the KAEGE RETRO, we have put heart and soul into the details: chrome trim strips, bumpers, lights as well as fuel and oil caps ensure nostalgic perfection - even if you look very closely.

By using carbon components, we have not only supplemented the authentic effect with modern components, but also achieved a weight saving of over 100 kilograms compared to the original 993. Contemporary lightweight construction that is very noticeable in vehicle handling and consumption.
Reinventing the old wheel.
No compromises in appearance, but as modern, safe and powerful as possible. This also applies to tires and rims. Here we are - as with many other equipment features - open to your wishes. With the Classic we use a three-part wheel in the classic design as standard.
Sound and performance.
The custom-made exhaust system is one of the selected things for which we have decided to redesign and not use the original. The sound, the optics and the performance characteristics prove us right.

With the KAEGE RETRO, every move around the steering wheel becomes a sensual experience: High-quality workmanship, optical accents and haptic finesse turn every kilometer into a pleasure trip: a leather steering wheel that flatters your hand, classically interpreted measuring indicators, high-end radio navigation system in vintage style -Look and a dashboard for a consistent interior design. With an airbag, of course.

With the KAEGE RETRO, good style continues under the hood: The trunk is also of high quality, refined and designed entirely according to your wishes. As with the classic, it offers space for light luggage.

Air-cooled to perfection.
A completely revised machine from the 993 works in the KAEGE RETRO CLASSIC - and therefore the best air-cooled series technology that has ever been installed in Swabia. Finely dismantled, checked, finely balanced and reassembled, the unit looks extremely cultivated, smooth-running and stable.
Through careful fine-tuning, we have been able to increase the output from 3.6 liters to 300 hp and more. Classic 911 feeling. Thanks to the built-in hydraulic valve lifters, the RETRO is very low-maintenance - but thanks to its OBD capability, it can be easily handled by any Porsche dealer.
It is a matter of honor that we also install the proven KW chassis in this "lighthouse project" from KAEGE. Comfort, damping behavior and sportiness are unsurpassed in the chassis of this manufacturer - and also look good on the Kaege RETRO.
Quite the 993.
As with the six-cylinder unit, we have made little changes to the six-speed gearbox of the 993. Even if outdated and thoroughly checked: some things are just as good as they are.
With ease for powerful impulses.
Saving weight with reliable performance - this premise also applied to the selection of the battery. For this reason we decided to use a Liteblox lithium battery again. A real lightweight made in Germany, proven and race-tested.
A question of safety: When it comes to headlights, it feels like the “good old days” are much longer behind than with other components. Reason enough for us to sell our LED headlights from our own production at the KAEGE RETRO.
They blend in perfectly with the optical look, but are in fact decades ahead of their predecessors in terms of economy, light intensity and durability.

Ergonomically perfect, ultimately comfortable and safe: it is logical that the RETRO has also used the best available on the market for the seats. Regardless of which design you choose - it's worth trying it out!

We were particularly happy about some of the blessings of the modern era with the 993: In contrast to the F model, it already had air conditioning as standard. Completely overhauled, in addition to the optional sliding roof in the RETRO, it now ensures that there is not only enthusiasm for every pleasure trip, but also the optimum temperature.
