The Showroom Queen.

"A Cabriolet is a closed car that you can drive with the roof open. A Speedster is an open car that you can drive with the roof closed."

This is one of 2104 original 911 3.2 Speedsters ever built from 1989 in the turbo-wide body variant. In the color silver, 247 of them were produced, i.e. approx. 10% of the total production. According to the chassis number, this Speedster is one of the last 30 vehicles built for the German market. 650 of this special model were destined for Germany. There were two engine variants - with and without catalytic converter. This vehicle is equipped with engine type 93020 without catalytic converter and delivers the full 231 hp.

The vehicle in detail

On 25.07.1989 this copy was delivered by the dealer Georg Rittersbacher, Kaiserslautern to the first owner in Munich, Dr. Wolf Zweifler. The original order is available as well as the original invoice. Dr. Zweifler did not move the car, however, but kept it as an investment in his collection. The second and to date last owner took over the vehicle from him on May 13, 2002 with a mileage of 36 km. To this day, only these two entries are recorded in the original registration document.

With a current total mileage of just 5,880 kilometers, this Speedster is probably the example with the lowest known mileage. Furthermore, according to our expertise, the car is in an almost untouched condition, both visually and technically.

We have already owned several Speedsters with low mileage, but we have never seen such an exceptional, completely original and untouched example ourselves. In addition to the original condition, the body of the vehicle is still 100% at the level of the original paintwork. The paint layer measurement shows no repainting. Likewise, no deviations from the delivery condition were found.

All stickers, like the protective coating on the underbody, are still completely as they were at the factory. Rubber, moldings and seals have survived the 36 years untouched. The plastic parts, the engine insulation mat and the yellow galvanized parts in the engine compartment are also free of wear. The technical function test was also flawless.

The original Fuchs rims are untreated and are also in as-new condition.

The entire trunk area is also in pristine overall condition.

The special equipment is also interesting, as it not only includes a more powerful battery and the rare rear luggage rack with additional storage space, but above all the limited slip differential (40%) was ordered in combination with the shortened gearshift. The smaller sports steering wheel and an alarm system as well as the higher quality velour carpet were also installed.

The car has been continuously maintained in Germany at the Porsche Center Würzburg and has the complete (Speedster) operating instructions including logbook, as well as the complete and original key and tool set, which is in an unused and still original welded condition

The vehicle has been preserved over the years by being stored in a humidor and is in an immaculate and mint condition for preservation and collecting.

Conclusion: For many Porsche enthusiasts, the Speedster is one of the most beautiful models and is particularly desirable due to the small number of units. To this day, owning a Speedster is the crowning glory for many Porsche collectors.

This German vehicle, with only one change of ownership in the color silver metallic, is a rare opportunity for any Porsche collection looking to increase in value to acquire one of the best vehicles on the market due to its fully documented history and with its uniquely low mileage of only 5,880 km, the complete first paint and in complete delivery condition.

Vehicle history:
The vehicle was delivered by Porsche Kaiserslautern on 25.07.1989. It was registered to the first owner in Munich on 26.07.1989. The only change of ownership took place at km 36 on 13.02.2002. Since then, the car has been continuously in the hands of the Schweinfurt owner. There have been no other changes of ownership during this time. The original vehicle registration document, with two owner entries, and the original checkbook are available. This means that the history is complete and can be proven beyond doubt.

Vehicle condition and assessment (according to the knowledge and statement of the vehicle owner, as well as an apparent appraisal):

Bodywork
The bodywork is in unrestored standard condition all round. The body is well protected against rust in all respects. The vehicle has been in dry storage for the entire time. The entire vehicle, including the floor system, is free of any rust. The gaps are even all round. Doors and hoods close perfectly. There are no drop marks or protrusions. The underbody is free of damage or wear. The entire area around the engine and gearbox is free of atypical oil deposits.

To the best of our knowledge, the vehicle is accident-free. There is no visible damage to the bodywork.

Exterior paintwork
Based on our measurements and the derived measured values, the paintwork is completely at first coat level. No traces of subsequent or additional paintwork could be detected.

Add-on parts
All add-on parts of the vehicle are complete. They are in mint condition all round.

Glazing
The glazing of the vehicle is completely free of stone chips and scratches.

Interior
Seats and trim
The entire seating system and the side panels as well as the headlining and the center console are in mint condition. There is no damage.

instruments
The vehicle has the standard instruments, which are all in technically and visually perfect condition. All instruments function properly. There is no wear and tear on the entire interior of the vehicle, including the Speedster roof.

Engine units
Due to the low mileage and the traceable history, it can be assumed that the engine and gearbox are the original units of the vehicle.

Additional units
All auxiliary units such as the injection system, ignition system, starter, alternator, etc. are in perfect technical condition.

Drive
The vehicle's transmission shifts smoothly under all load conditions, there are no suspicious noises. The gearbox works perfectly.

Chassis and brake system
As far as can be seen, all four brake disks are in very good condition.

Wheels and tires
The wear is even across the entire width of the tires, which is an unmistakable indication that the chassis is perfectly adjusted and working accordingly. These tires are mounted on the original Porsche Fuchs rims. The rims are in mint condition. On request, new tires can be fitted before delivery to the new owner.

Electrics and lighting
The entire electrical system is in as-delivered condition. No changes have been made here, so that the entire electrical system functions properly in all areas.
