Turbo-Therapy - the story behind it
delivered in 1984 as a rare M491 widebody, the first owner transformed the 911 with Gemballa flatnose and RS 3.8 wing into probably the most dazzling child of the Eighties. Two owners later, the car returned to its classic turbo look: original front and fenders, garnished with RUF add-on parts at the front and rear.
The big hit followed in 2019-2020: a turbo boxer from the 964 was installed, rebuilt and finely optimized with 3.6l - > 60k € engine investment, > 20k € bodywork. Adjusted with FrankenCIS, it delivers around 430 hp at 0.9 bar; the engine builder gives the green light up to 1.4 bar for a whopping 480-500 hp - if you have the driving skills, you will experience boost in its purest form. Brakes, suspension and air conditioning have also been freshly overhauled.
