The 993 Carrera Cabriolet on offer was delivered by the Porsche Center Willich in Germany in June 1994. The car remained with its original owner in Germany for the first 6 years and 70,000 km.
The vehicle was then purchased in 2000 by the then Ruf and Porsche partner in Stockholm, who had it extensively modified for a Norwegian customer.
RUF modified the engine, chassis and brakes to BTR specifications. The car also features the characteristic 19" RUF rims with flat spokes.
At the same time, the interior and bodywork were revised by Techart. The widened rear fenders and rear spoiler were taken from a 911 Turbo S and hint at the car's increased performance, as do the unique front and rear aprons and sculpted side skirts. Inside, the car was reupholstered in red Boxster leather, contrasted by carbon trim, a 996-generation steering wheel, as well as redesigned instruments and a re-covered dashboard.
From 2000 to 2018, the vehicle remained in the hands of a knowledgeable collector. During this time, it was driven approximately 16,000 km.
The vehicle was purchased by the current owner and vehicle collector in 2018. Since then, the vehicle has been driven very little and is in very good condition.
