1990 Porsche 911 Targa Reimagined by Singer – Classic Services – The Cape Palmas Commission
One of the final Porsche 911 Targas to be Reimagined by Singer in the Classic Services style, the Cape Palmas Commission represents a singular vision of its commissioning owner to create a hi interpretation of a truly unique and timeless 911 Targa, as such it boasts truly fabulous attention to detail throughout the specification. Completed in early 2025, the Cape Palmas Commisssion is built on an all-wheel drive drivetrain and at its heart is the 4.0-liter engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Fitted with the ceramic plenum inlet manifold, the car is also equipped with a titanium exhaust muffler and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes.
The Cape Palmas Commission is defined by its unique Dark Olive Metallic paintwork, a hue specially developed by Singer Vehicle Designs and the recommissioning owner. Inspired by the face and bezel of a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time watch, the goal was to recreate the same rich metallic refraction and depth of light seen on the watch. At first glance, the paintwork presents as a deep olive green, but with changing light there are hints of gold metallic, making for a highly dynamic finish. These gold metallic highlights complement the brass and sold gold accents found throughout the vehicle. Importantly, this paintwork is protected by full car paint protection film fitted by Singer Vehicle Designs. Further exterior options on the Cape Palmas Commission include nickel plated bumperettes, rear decklid badging in 24 karat gold, and brake calipers finished in champagne with black lettering which are hidden behind bespoke wheels with RS nickel petals and lip with a satin black background and barrel. Special wishes options included a second Targa top finished in Euro Green and Targa badges finished in 24 karat gold to match the rear decklid badging.
