Exterior colour/paint/body:
The exterior color of the SC Targa is bright red – in the course of the restoration work, which took place in Germany, the paintwork of the 911 was completely new. The seller can completely rule out an accident. All plastic attachments on the vehicle are apparently in a clean and complete condition, and the Targa roof is also in perfect condition. For a precise assessment of the condition of the paint, body and all add-on parts on the exterior, we recommend looking through the meaningful series of pictures of the 911 – the videos also give a good insight into this.
Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:
New Continental brand tires are mounted on the original Porsche Fuchs rims. The brakes have also recently been added. There are no discernible deviations from the original condition or inconsistencies in the area of the chassis.
Interior:
Matching the red exterior color of the 911 SC Targa, the interior of the sports car is completely black – this further emphasizes the sportiness. In addition to the 3-spoke leather steering wheel and the full leather seats, the Porsche's equipment includes electric windows, power steering, central locking, air conditioning, ABS and a contemporary Blaupunkt radio. There are apparently no signs of gross wear or even missing parts in the interior of the car, all electrical helpers work, as do all displays and controls. The Targa roof can be easily removed and reinserted.
mileage
A mileage of 127,070 can be read on the 6-digit kilometer speedometer – after consultation with the seller, this mileage can be approximated based on a partially maintained checkbook.
engine
The air-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine with a displacement of 3.0 liters generates 180 hp, and the power of the six cylinders is transmitted to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. This Porsche recently underwent a last service (in January 2023).
underbody:
As you can see from the pictures of the underbody of the 911, it is in very good condition considering the age of the vehicle. The seller also mentions that this Porsche SC Targa is in its original delivery condition and is technically and visually free of defects thanks to the restoration work. The possibility of opening the targa roof of the sports car with the first rays of sunshine and cruising through the area with a light draft also makes this red Porsche 911 SC particularly appealing.
