Model history

The Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic sports cars in automotive history. In the early 1970s, the F model series underwent continuous development, including the 911 T as one of the entry-level models. From 1970, it was equipped with a six-cylinder engine enlarged to 2.2 liters, which was fitted with a Zenith carburetor as standard in the T model and delivered 125 hp. The 911 T thus combined classic sports car values with everyday drivability. Visually, the car remained true to the original lines of the first 911 introduced in 1963 – with its typical round headlights, slim silhouette, and sporty interior.
