A numbers-matching example, this 911 has undergone the same treatment that all of our full CPR-certified restorations receive. Upon arrival, the car was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. The tub was then evaluated and placed on our frame bench to ensure an arrow-straight tub and that all factory pickup points were within spec. Then all of the necessary metal work was performed to ensure perfect panel fitment and integrity throughout.
After the tub completed metal, it was moved to our paint shop, where it was sealed, undercoated to factory standards, and then placed in primer. Following primer, the car was blocked for several hundred hours to ensure the panels were laser straight. The car was then painted in Glasurit silver metallic and moved to final assembly.
Final assembly began, and the car’s suspension was installed with all refinished components and freshly plated hardware. The car was then sent to the interior shop to have the carpet, headliner, and all leathers installed.
The car is now back in final assembly and being completed. It is being offered to our client base prior to completion as it is in the perfect position for the next owner to implement their preferred personal touches. Whether that is an engine upgrade, added fog lights, air conditioning, or other options, CPR can tailor the final spec of this stunning 911 to the buyer’s preferences.
