This 1977 Porsche 930 Turbo Carrera is a highly original, well-documented example showing 54,393 miles, finished in Platinum Metallic over Dark Brown leather (code 93). One of just 727 US Market Turbos produced for 1977, this car retains its numbers-matching drivetrain, original finishes, and factory options including sport seats and a rare slick-top (no sunroof) configuration. It has had just three documented owners, including the most recent, a Charlotte-based Porsche collector who has cared for the car over the past several years.
Power comes from the 3.0-liter turbocharged flat-six paired with a 4-speed manual transaxle, and the car runs exceptionally well. The ride height remains at factory U.S. spec, the air conditioning works incredible well for this vintage, and all mechanical systems operate as intended. The engine fan and housing have been refinished for presentation, while the rest of the engine bay remains in clean, honest condition.
The speedometer has been repaired and is now fully functional. Mileage remains consistent with documentation. The Platinum Metallic paint is believed to be mostly original with minor patina consistent with age (rear passenger corner has been sprayed). The car sits on its original Fuchs alloy wheels, now wrapped in new Pirelli P7 classic tires. The Dark Brown leather interior is clean and unmodified, and the factory sport seats remain some of the best Porsche offered during the era… deep, supportive, and highly desirable among collectors.
Included in the sale is a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, original spare wheel, tools, and a complete documentation file dating back through prior ownerships. This car is described as concours-ready with light cosmetic aging that may be preserved as-is or addressed per the next owner’s preference.
