The example we are offering on behalf of a customer is one of only 630 vehicles of the third generation of the 930 Turbo with flat body intended for the US market (M505).

This 930 was delivered to its first owner, David J. Laplant, in sunny California on October 20, 1987. Exactly how long Mr. Laplant enjoyed his 930 cannot be said with certainty. However, Carfax confirms that the car spent its entire time in the USA on the sunny West Coast near Los Angeles before being brought to Europe by the current owner in 2017. According to Carfax, the car is accident-free. The very good overall condition and the inspection of the paintwork indicate that it was first painted. The mileage is also plausible when compared with Carfax. All VIN stickers are in place and the vehicle is in Matching Numbers condition. The Porsche birth certificate is enclosed with the vehicle.

Once in Europe, the first stop for the 930 Turbo was at Porsche Classic in Stuttgart, before moving on to a large sports car collection in Slovenia. The specialists at Porsche took care of everything that needed to be done, restored the EU performance of 300 hp and also converted the speedometer to kilometers accordingly. Since then, the open Turbo has been driven around 5,000 km. In total, the car has currently run a little under 50,000 km.
