This Porsche 914/6 was registered on April 27, 1970.
The history of the vehicle known to us dates back to 1990.
Since then, the Porsche has been in the hands of the previous owner, who drove the car for over 25 years.
From this period, we have access not only to older documents but also to the original vehicle registration certificate. This shows that the car was regularly registered and deregistered in the 1990s, presumably as a purely seasonal vehicle.
In 2015, the current owner purchased the Porsche from the previous owner. Since he wanted to drive the 914 in a sporty manner, the car underwent a complete technical restoration starting in 2018.
To this end, the vehicle was entrusted to the Porsche experts at Karosserie-Stimming in Bad Segeberg. Here, particular emphasis was placed on addressing typical 914 weak points.
Noteworthy are, for example, the contemporary improvements to the cooling system. In addition to optimized airflow channels on the engine sump and the conversion of the rear lid to GT specifications, the oil cooler was also repaired.
This was followed by the refurbishment of the engine bay and the installation of the engine, which had been overhauled by Rugen-Motoren. As a result, the vehicle now requires absolutely no further maintenance.
For all other technical work, please refer to the list below and the vehicle brochure we have on hand.
The only downside is the light red paint job. Although the vehicle was fully galvanized by the previous owner and therefore shows no typical rust problems, the paintwork is of inferior quality and, upon close inspection, structurally poor in various places. We refer you to the detailed photos in our brochure.
