Vehicle History
The car was originally delivered in the U.S. and was regularly serviced in the 1970s at Hofco Porsche Service in Van Nuys and Jack’s Auto Body Shop in Los Angeles—as evidenced by invoices from that period, including compression tests, spark plug replacements, and a documented engine rebuild in 1975. From 1975 to 1984, the vehicle was owned by Rodger Ellis of Boaz, CA. In 1991, Ruf Automobile in Paffenheim took over ownership of the vehicle before it passed into the current previous owner’s possession in 2021.

Restoration 2021–2024

With a mileage of 96,580 km, a complete body-off restoration was carried out:
